Tara will leave Sydney on August 24th heading for the archipelago of New Caledonia where the schooner is scheduled to arrive on September 11th.. Sampling will be carried out in the waters around the archipelago during the first week. After sampling coral at different sites, the schooner will be moored in the port of Noumea from September 20th to 25th . This stopover will be an opportunity for the public to visit the boat, meet the sailors, hear about daily life aboard Tara, and learn a lot about coral.
