Tara PACIFIC Coordinator (CRIOBE) – FR

Emilie Boissin is a post doctoral researcher at Criobe since 2013. In her research, she is interested in understanding the mechanisms underlying the distribution of marine biodiversity. She looks more particularly at the effects of life history traits (reproduction mode, larval type) and the effects of past climate changes (linked to sea-level fluctuations) on diversification and population and community genetic structure. She uses DNA barcoding, phylogenetics, phylogeography and population genetics coupled with comparative approaches and scenario testing. She is the scientific coordinator for Tara Pacific.
